Today is 72nd Republic Day.
26th January, 1950 – The Date on which Constitution of India came into effect.
In school days, this day was not only a National Holiday . In our school, Our P.T Sir used to organise parade with all the students. Principal Ma’am hoisted flags , we sang National Anthem in chorus. Later sweets were distributed by teachers.
We were taught the importance of the Day, the meaning behind it. Generation after generation, knowledge has been passed about the importance of the day.
